Speaking of the old guard...

I've been going back over some of my CD collection and listening to my Smashing Pumpkins albums and falling in love with their music all over again. While doing so I realised that I probably wouldn't have gotten into them if it weren't for this wonderful forum in the first place and the number of Smashing Pumpkins fans therein.

Funny how things work out like that, huh?

Have you listened to their new stuff? I'm a bit scared to do so :(

But yeah, classic Pumpkins is still amazing.

I dig it, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially if they're looking for another Mellon Collie or Siamese Dream. That said, James and Jimmy are back, so it's definitely worth a listen just out of curiousity.
