I sense something; a presence I have not felt since . . .

It's been a while, and i'm still many thousand kilometers away. But I thought i'd check in on my old TF family and see how everyone is. I trust you are all well? I'm not really in the loop Transformers wise at all anymore but I see the upcoming toys look pretty fun, I hope 2019 is a great year for all you collectors!

Hi buddy!

Hows you?
Is the cat in the hat, or is the hat simply on the cat?

I'm very well. Life in London is certainly a change of pace compared to Auckland/New Zealand but it's an absolute blast. Can be a very big, and sometimes lonely city but made a bunch of friends here which makes it easier and more fun.

I live close to a giant Westfield and there is only two stores which you could possibly buy toys in and the selection is poor + overpriced. I took a look recently and could mostly just see TLK toys lingering and a few POTP figures.

I'll be back in NZ in March for a couple of weeks visiting friends and family, after that who knows when i'll return.

Basically the UK is a great place to wean off Transformers, I can attest to that.

There's the odd bargain you get here and there store wise in the UK but you're better off with the specialist online stores in the EU to avoid the VAT and custom duties.

I'd forgotten I was not the only TFNZ member now over in the UK. Where are you based these days?

I've kept an eye on Kapow Toys but really without following any current TF fiction my desire for anything has diminished to the point of barely keeping and eye out for any deals or specials. No storage/display areas where I live that the few MP's I bought over with me are sitting in a travel bag under my bed.

It's weird how many of the old guard seem to be showing back up here. Good weird, not bad weird.
