Sega has finally taken the wraps off of the not-so-mysterious Project Needlemouse, and it turns out it's just what everyone was hoping for: a return to classic 2D Sonic the Hedgehog gameplay. The game will officially be known as Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 and will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and WiiWare this summer.

Nah, this game is coming to Wii, PS3, Xbox and iPhone so far.
It's a shame Sonic looks like he runs so slow and like he's about to trip over. And that it's being released episodic.

Their last good Sonic game was Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast and Gamecube... I hope this is good.

I hope he goes back to not running too fast. I can never keep up with it. And then I push the wrong button then he always zooms off the side of a cliff.

Although, that could be more just that I suck.
