Finding the 2012 IDW MTME books in NZ

This area seems pretty abandoned, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any sources, possibly in NZ that stock, or will order these titles? I've done a bit of searching around but haven't been able to find any at all sadly.

They have the first TPB up for pre-order on mightyape. First 6 issues I think? [includes 'the death of optimus prime' prequel issue]

Due out in June.

If you are in one of the cities there should be at least one comic store. Even here in Chch they relocated (apparently just across the road from Northlands). Prices are probably gonna be pretty exorbitant though. Likely cheaper to import. I use http://www.midtowncomics.com/ though there are likely cheap options if you're willing to dig around.

mightyape.co.nz has both TPB's in stock, and at around $25 each!

IDW is the comic book company that hold the current licence for Transformers. They have made some pretty good TF comics. MTME, or "More Than Meets The Eye" is an ongoing series that started this year. It is very good.

In fact Kev, you should go to Mightyape.co.nz and order volume 1 and 2. While you're at it, order 'Last Stand Of The Wreckers' as well. That is a great read.

Hmmm... Don't quite have the budget or time for reading Ash. But knowing you, your recommendations so far have been next to AWESOMENESS!

Hmmm... Will finish saving up for the Re-Molds of the TF Prime Cyrus and Nemisis, then the Masterpiece Red Alert and maybe will give your recommendations ago.

I've been reading those series digitally on my ipod.

They are, in fact very very awesome.

Both RID and MTMTE are very cool, and reminds me of some of marvel's stuff from the 80's - stories about characters, not bogged down in continuity.

Also, the Last stand of the Wreckers series is brilliant.
