Was really interested in seeing how these turned out but so far astrotrain and blitzwing look like theyre very simplified transformations, astrotrain almost looks like you just separate his legs and move the nose of the rocket then expose his head.

Really hoping once we get some in hand pictures that these two are more interesting, especially astrotrain I love that guy. If they gave him a masterpiece Id be the happiest person alive

Really? Suppose with insecticons and the coneheads it makes sense, was hoping for something with the combiner wars level of quality that are still inline with G1 not just reissues. Ah well will have to wait and see

In-hand photo of Cyber Starscream:

Starscream oozes cool in bot mode, but I wonder what the jet mode undercarriage will be like. Looks like we should see in-hand pics of Hot Spot by tomorrow too.

I must say that I'm intrigued by this new line. I like the look of the line in general, the moulded details seem nice, but the poseability is of course an issue.

Based on the announced US price points vs NZ Combiner Wars prices, I'd guess the 7 inch "Battalion" would be ~$30NZD and the 11 inch "Commander" $40+NZD if they were released here. Doesn't seem too bad given the 7 inches is roughly Voyager size. Too early to ask Hasbro NZ if we'll see a release?

The sword looks neat, just a small note about the minicons the deluxe verson of drift does not hold them, also the deployer verson fire them basicly from around there feet, I am tempted by the animals though.
